Colt Government Model 1911 (Aria the Scarlet Ammo)
Colt Government Model 1911, as featured in the anime show "Aria the Scarlet Ammo" (or 緋弾のアリア [Hidan no Aria] in Japanese). These pair of customised 1911 handguns are owned and used by Aria Holmes Kanzaki, one of the main protagonist in the show. Her 1911s comes in two finishes: one in stainless steel, and one in blued with crimson coated slide release, safety and trigger. Both handguns also feature custom-made polished ergonomic plastic grips, with pearl inserts showing a emblem of Butei High School and an art portrait of Aria's mother.
One interesting note is that the trigger as conveyed in the anime is completely wrong for a .45 caliber 1911 handgun. I've decided not to include it in my 3D Model replication to keep the 1911's technical functionality as close to real life as possible. Another interesting trivia is that Aria's blued 1911 featured standard wooden grips in the 2nd Season of the show for some reason. I'm unsure whether this is an oversight by the animators or an intentional change, but I've included that 3D model anyway.
