LAR Grizzly Mark V .50AE

The LAR Grizzly is a series of semi-automatic handguns introduced in 1983, built on the 1911 platform by gunsmith Perry Arnett. Initial variants were known as Mark I, designed to chamber the more powerful .45 Winchester Magnum. Later on conversion kits that include modified magazines and barrels allow for chambering of variety of different calibers. The LAR Grizzly was the most powerful semi-automatic handgun introduced at the time before being subsided by the Desert Eagle. The Mark V variant is only chambered for .50AE and was introduced as a direct competition against the Desert Eagle.
