Armalite AR-10(T) Battle Rifle

Armalite AR-10(T), T standing in for “Target”, is a 7.62x51mm battle rifle derived from the AR-10B series platform. This particular model features a match graded stainless steel barrel and a vintage free floating handguard. Since the gun itself doesn't come with any ironsights, I modelled a KAC SR-25 style flip-up sight to go with it.

Interesting fact when I was modelling this, I learnt that there are two different AR-10 platforms; the AR-10A and AR-10B. The AR-10A is the more modern “SR-25” patterned variant, most distinguished by it’s almost identical AR-15 style magazine-well shape. Whereas the AR-10B is the much older vintage variant, which can also accept modified M14 magazines.
